GIFT CARD TERMS

These terms apply to Sparkle Like Me digital gift cards and form part of our Website Terms and Conditions.

 

1. Digital delivery

 

Gift cards are digital and are delivered by email to the address entered at checkout. Please check the recipient email address carefully.

 

We are not responsible for delay caused solely by an incorrect email address supplied by the purchaser, but we will provide reasonable assistance where ownership and payment can be verified.

 

2. Validity and expiry

 

Gift cards are valid for 24 months from the purchase date. The expiry date should be shown in the gift-card email or account information.

 

Any unused balance expires at the end of that period unless the law requires otherwise. We may extend a card as a goodwill gesture but are not obliged to do so.

 

3. Redemption

 

Gift cards may be redeemed online at [WEBSITE URL] for eligible Sparkle Like Me products.

 

More than one gift card may be used on an order where Shopify permits. If the order value exceeds the available balance, the difference must be paid using an accepted payment method.

 

A gift card cannot be exchanged for cash or used to obtain cash, except where legally required. Gift cards cannot normally be used to buy another gift card unless the website expressly permits it.

 

4. Promotions

 

Discount codes, free gifts or promotions may exclude gift-card purchases. The relevant promotional terms will apply.

 

Buying a gift card may not count towards a free-delivery or minimum-spend promotion unless stated otherwise.

 

5. Cancellation and refunds

 

The original purchaser may request cancellation of an unused gift card within 14 days of purchase where a statutory cancellation right applies. Once the gift card has been redeemed in whole or in part, it cannot normally be cancelled or refunded except where required by law.

 

Refunds for products bought using a gift card will normally be returned to the gift card or issued as replacement gift-card credit. Where an order was paid partly by gift card and partly by card, the refund may be allocated between the original methods.

 

A gift card is not a commercial guarantee and does not limit statutory rights relating to products purchased with it.

 

6. Loss, theft and unauthorised use

 

Treat a gift-card code like cash. We are not responsible for use by another person after the code has been shared, forwarded, lost or stolen, unless the loss resulted from our failure to use reasonable care and security.

 

Contact [CUSTOMER SERVICE EMAIL] promptly if you suspect unauthorised use. We may suspend, replace or cancel a card where reasonably necessary and where the remaining balance and purchaser can be verified.

 

7. Fraud and misuse

 

We may refuse, suspend or cancel a gift card obtained or used through fraud, unauthorised payment, technical abuse or other unlawful activity. Legitimately paid balances will not be removed without a proper reason.

 

8. Changes

 

We may update these terms prospectively. We will not retrospectively reduce the value or validity of an existing gift card in a way that is unfair or unlawful.
